Monique Aurora Tello, MD
Fellow in General Internal Medicine - Johns Hopkins School of Medicine

Dr. Monique Aurora Tello is a physician trained in internal medicine and pediatrics. She has a keen interest in international public health, and is currently earning an MPH and completing a clinical research fellowship at Johns Hopkins.

Her main research interests are STD/ HIV prevention in marginalized populations, such as ethnic minorities, as well as injection drug users and commercial sex workers.

She has lived and worked in Central and South America, mainly Guatemala and Nicaragua, as well as El Salvador, Ecuador, and Israel. She hopes to pursue a career in international public health and clinical research in Central or South America, while affiliated with an academic institution in the U.S.
