Computers for Guatemala is a non profit organization with a long history of providing computers to the Mayan people. Currently they have provided computer networks to schools, orphanages, libraries, Peace Corps volunteers, Rotarian micro finance projects, and other community groups in 33 towns in Guatemala. They also provide laptop and desktop computers for Quaker scholarships students.
Beginning in 2009 Computers for Guatemala will expand services to include work with health projects in Ecuador and Kenya. Specifically, Computers for Guatemala will install a computer network at the HealtheChildren outpatient clinic in San Francisco, Valle de los Chillos, Ecuador.
